One person was killed and two others were wounded in a shooting late Saturday night in the Levittown section of Middletown Township.

Middletown Township officers responded to a report of an armed subject on Quickset Road in Quincy Hollow at 10:33 p.m. Saturday.
While officers were responding to the scene, the call was upgraded to shots fired, police said.

At the scene, officers found a man with a gunshot wound outside a home. He was pulled to safety, and officers began lifesaving efforts, but he was pronounced dead, police said.
Two additional victims were located at the scene – a woman with a head wound and a man with gunshot wounds to the torso and leg, police said.

The two people who were wounded were both were transported to local trauma centers and are expected to survive, police said.
Investigators said all three people involved were known to each other, and at least two of the men exchanged gunfire.
The probe is “active and ongoing”, police said.

A search warrant was executed, and the scene was processed throughout the night, police said.
Middletown Township police and Bucks County Detectives were spotted looking at a home in the 10 block of Quickset Road and at vehicles parked outside, according to a bystander.

No charges were filed as of Sunday morning, and the name of the deceased was not released.
The call drew a large police response, with officers from Falls and Bristol townships responding to assist. Firefighters and multiple ambulances also responded.
