Man Charged In Double Burglary Incidents

A man has been arrested in connection with two separate residential burglaries that happened last month.

Bristol Township police responded to a 911 call at approximately 7:45 a.m. on June 23. The caller reported that a man was inside a residence on Apple Road. The caller described the suspect as wearing an orange shirt and black shorts.

Police said they located a man matching the description in the 900 block of Old Orchard Road.

The man was identified by the Apple Road homeowner as the individual who had been inside their residence without permission, police said.

During the ongoing investigation, officers were contacted by another individual on Merlin Street who reported an unauthorized entry into their home while they were not present.

Ring camera footage captured the incident, and officers were able to identify the man in the video as Christopher Lecompte, 42, who has no listed address, police said.

Lecompte allegedly entered the Merlin Street residence without the homeowners’ permission.

Lecompte was identified as the suspect in both burglary calls, police said.

Lecompte was charged with two counts of burglary and criminal trespassing. He was preliminarily arraigned before District Judge Kevin Wagner and jailed in lieu of 10 percent of $75,000.
