One Dead After Levittown Fire

UPDATED: Coroner ID’s Man Killed In Fire

A man died and was located after a family member found a fire Wednesday evening.

Levittown Fire Company No. 2 was dispatched to the 100 block of Indian Creek Drive in Bristol Township’s Levittown section around 6:45 p.m. for a report of a blaze, according to Chief Chris Shortt.

Crews made entry into the home and found the man deceased, Shortt said.

The fire had burned itself out by the time crews arrived.

According to Bristol Township Deputy Fire Marshal Alex DelVecchio, a family member of the man showed up at the residence and found smoke inside the home.

DelVecchio ruled the fire accidental and caused by smoking.

Shortt said the deceased man was the only person inside the home at the time.
