

Authorities are investigating a string of four fires that occurred within 24 hours at a Levittown home.

The Bristol Township Fire Marshal and police detectives are probing the incidents at a residence in the unit block of Yellowood Drive.
The most significant fire was reported around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Edgely Fire Company Chief Brian Cirard reported that crews arrived within three minutes to find heavy flames coming from the dwelling.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control in approximately 20 minutes, Cirard said.
Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito stated the blaze originated in the carport area and spread to the first floor and attic.

The resident was not home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported in any of the incidents, officials said.
Dippolito confirmed the Wednesday fire was the fourth and most severe at the property since Tuesday morning.

The first fire happened in the carport around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, and it has been determined to be arson.

Two additional small fires were set in the carport between 4 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday but self-extinguished, Dippolito said.
The Fire Marshal and detectives are investigating the cause of the remaining blazes.

In the Wednesday morning blaze, the Edgely Fire Company was assisted by the Levittown No. 2, Newportville, and Third District fire companies assisted.
