A 63-year-old woman reported missing from the Croydon section of Bristol Township was located Sunday night after an extensive search involving municipal and county law enforcement.

The woman was reported missing at 9:18 p.m. Sunday from her Karen Avenue home, according to authorities.
Bristol Township police deployed all available resources in the search, Sgt. Jason Mancuso said.
The Bucks County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit joined the search around midnight as they were responding to a request from Bristol Township police.

K-9 Zeke initiated a track through the neighborhood and led deputies to the woman’s location in a nearby driveway. She was found with a Bristol Township police officer, officials said.

“The woman was located several blocks away from her Karen Avenue home and in good condition,” Mancuso said in a statement.

Mancuso appreciated the sheriff’s office’s assistance, calling it “a prime example of two agencies working together to help the community members of Bucks County and have a positive outcome.”
The Bucks County Sheriff’s Office highlighted the role of their K-9 Unit in the successful operation.
“This successful operation demonstrates the vital role our K-9 Unit plays in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community members,” the sheriff’s office stated. “We commend the quick coordination between the Bristol Township Police Department and our deputies.”

The woman was safely transported back to her residence.
