A Bristol Township woman was hospitalized Saturday after being struck by a pickup truck while crossing Levittown Parkway.

Falls Township police said the woman was hit around 2:15 p.m. near Spur Lane by a 2008 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by a 48-year-old Levittown man.
The 29-year-old woman suffered several fractures and a head laceration, police said.
The injured woman was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia, where she was listed in stable condition as of Sunday, police said.

Police said a preliminary investigation indicated that alcohol, drugs, or a medical emergency were not factors in the collision.
Officers determined the pedestrian crossed the roadway in an unsafe manner and location, police said.
