SUV Ends Up In Front Yards; Charges Pending

A 32-year-old Langhorne woman was arrested for DUI after losing control of her SUV and getting stuck in the mud in the yards of two homes, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Troopers were called to the area of Bellevue Avenue and Neshaminy Street in Hulmeville Borough just after 2 a.m. Saturday.

At the scene, troopers found a 2015 GMC Denali stuck in the mud in the yards along Neshaminy Street, state police said.

Troopers said the driver lost control of the vehicle while making a left turn onto Neshaminy Street from Bellevue Avenue.

No injuries were reported in the crash.

The SUV became stuck in the yards during a rainstorm, and state police requested a tow truck to remove it.

The driver appeared intoxicated and smelled of alcoholic beverage, according to police. She admitted to drinking and showed signs of impairment, state police said.

The woman was arrested and will be charged with DUI.
