Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a high-speed chase on I-95 and I-295.

Troopers stated that they attempted to stop a 2013 black Dodge Challenger traveling northbound on I-95 in Bensalem Township at approximately 12:49 a.m. on Monday, March 10.
The vehicle failed to stop and “accelerated in speed” as it fled, according to state police.
The Challenger continued on I-295 eastbound as troopers pursued it.

Troopers said they lost sight of the vehicle as it continued on I-295 into Bristol Township.
Due to safety concerns, troopers called off the pursuit, state police said.

According to state police, they are continuing to investigate the incident and are working to identify the driver.
