PennDOT crews and contractors will continue pothole patching operations this week across the Philadelphia region, including numerous roads in the Levittown area.

The work is part of a larger effort to address potholes on more than 60 state roadways across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia and Montgomery counties.
PennDOT said the region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to the rapid freeze-thaw cycle, where temperatures fluctuate between freezing and mild.
Motorists are advised to expect travel restrictions and potential slowdowns when driving near work crews patching potholes.

In the Levittown area, crews will target potholes on the following roads:
- Route 13 in Falls Township.
- Maple Avenue (Route 213) in Middletown Township.
- Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Bristol and Middletown townships.
- Old Bristol Pike and Philadelphia Avenue in Bristol Township.
- Winchester Avenue and Langhorne-Yardley Road in Langhorne Borough and Middletown Township.
- Hood Boulevard and Penn Valley Road in Falls Township.
PennDOT reminds motorists that potholes can be reported to PennDOT’s Customer Care Center by visiting customercare.penndot.pa.gov.

Since Jan. 1, PennDOT has received over 2,100 customer concerns regarding potholes in the region.
Drivers are urged to slow down in work zones and avoid distracted driving to ensure the safety of both motorists and workers.
