Bristol Township police responded to the 7-Eleven at Route 13 and Edgely Road at 4:32 p.m. Sunday for a report of a gun being pulled.

At the scene, officers reportedly found Carlos Calderon and his girlfriend.

Police said Calderon refused to remove his hands from his pockets and then took a step toward away. He was taken to the ground and found to have what appeared to be a Glock handgun in his waistband.

The weapon was later determined to be a pellet gun, police said.

A witness told police that Calderon’s girlfriend and another woman were arguing outside the store when Calderon began yelling.

The witness said Calderon grabbed his waist, pulled out the gun and yelled “what’s up?” several times, according to court papers.

The other woman told an officer she was scared and believed the gun was real, authorities said.

According to social media posts, the incident drew a large police response to the 7-Eleven.
