The $350,990 grant will fund upgrades to the signals at Durham Road and East Lincoln Highway, according to PennDOT.
The funding is part of $20.4 million in Automated Red-Light Enforcement (ARLE) revenue awarded to 31 municipalities across the state.
The grant money is generated from fines collected from red-light violations at 38 intersections in Philadelphia.

โThis program helps communities across the state make important investments in traffic flow and safety,โ PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll said in a statement. โThese improvements complement the many road, bridge, and multimodal projects happening in Pennsylvania, and are in line with the Shapiro Administrationโs commitment to invest in Pennsylvaniaโs infrastructure and help keep communities connected safely to opportunity and each other.โ
Since 2010, ARLE funding has provided $162 million for transportation projects.
