Levittown Woman Critically Injured In Route 13 Scooter Crash

An 18-year-old Levittown woman is in critical condition following a crash early Saturday morning.

The crash happened at 3:09 a.m. near the intersection of Haines Road, in front of the McDonald’s, in Bristol Township where the woman on the scooter was coming from the parking lot onto the roadway, police said.

Police said a white 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, which was driven northbound by a 41-year-old Willingboro, New Jersey, man, struck the scooter.

The woman was hurt and was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad. She was suffering from severe head injuries, police said.

The car’s driver was unharmed.

Police were assisted at the scene by personnel from the Edgely Fire Company, Tullytown Borough Police, and Bristol Township Fire Police.
