Schools Close For Monday Due To Expected Snow

Ahead of Monday’s forecasted snow, the Levittown-area’s school districts have closed.

The call came Sunday evening after district and local officials discussed the forecast.

Bristol Borough School District:

“Out of an abundance of caution, the Bristol Borough School District Buildings will be closed and all classes will be running asynchronous on Monday, January 6, 2025. ….. All Students are expected to log in to their Google Classrooms to complete all assignments. Attendance will be recorded in each class and determined by completion of assignments.”

Bristol Township School District:

“As you most likely know, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Bristol Township. After consultation with experts and stakeholders, due to concerns about the timing of this storm, hazardous weather and dangerous road conditions, the Bristol Township School District will be closed for a Snow Day on Monday, January 6th. There are no instructional requirements for students or instructional staff. Stay safe and enjoy the day off!”

Bucks County Technical High School:

“Due to impending weather, Bucks County Technical High School will have an asynchronous day on Monday, January 6th. Offices will be closed. Thank you and be safe!”

Neshaminy School District:

“Schools closed for staff and students. Afternoon / evening activities cancelled. No Kids Club or private school bus transportation.”

Pennsbury School District:

“Remote Learning Day Announcement

“After assessing the timing of the storm, all Pennsbury schools and offices will transition to a Remote Learning Day on January 6, 2025.

“Quick Information:

All after-school and evening activities are canceled and will be rescheduled.
The student instructional day on a Remote Learning day is 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
