On Thursday and Friday, H & H, which is working through Amtrak, will be conducting a visual inspection of the Amtrak rail bridge crossing over Cedar Avenue in the Croydon section of the township, according to officials.

PennDOT, which has approved the project, said southbound Cedar Avenue will be closed and detoured between Route 13 and Coventry Lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

The detour will direct drivers to use Route 13, Otter Street/Veterans Highway (Route 413), State Road, and Cedar Avenue.
