Several people were hurt in a Friday morning crash in Middletown Township.

Around 5:40 a.m., police, firefighters, and emergency medical responders were called to East Lincoln Highway and the entrance to the Oxford Valley Mall for a multi-vehicle collision.
Crews arrived to find several people hurt and several badly-damaged vehicles.
A dispatch indicated that one of the injured people may have been struck by a vehicle.

The Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad and Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad tended to the injured, while police and firefighters from the Middletown Township Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Penndel Fire Company, and William Penn Fire Company assisted.
Just past 6 a.m., medics were evaluating at least three people at the scene, with two loaded onto stretchers.

Police closed East Lincoln Highway eastbound from Oxford Valley Road to the crash site.
