Shots Fired At State Office In Bristol Twp.

Authorities in Bristol Township are on the lookout for a woman accused of firing shots at the state-run Bucks County Assistance Office.

The Wednesday shooting resulted in property damage but no injuries, police said.

At approximately 9:08 a.m., officers responded to reports of disorderly behavior at the office located at 1214 Veterans Highway.

At the scene, officers found a shattered window.

An investigation revealed that shots had been fired at the building by a suspect who then fled the scene on foot.

The suspect – identified as 37-year-old April Campbell Precha, of Bristol – had a warrant issued for her arrest after the shooting.

Precha was wanted as of Wednesday afternoon on several charges, including aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment, and being a person not to be in possession of a firearm, according to court papers.

Bristol Township police have cautioned the public that Precha is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Community members are urged not to approach the suspect if spotted but to contact police immediately.
