Luis Alberto Rosa, 36, of Middletown Township’s Levittown section, was arrested last week on charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and aggravated indecent assault on a person less than 13 years old.
The investigation began on July 19 when Middletown Township police received a request for a well-being check. A woman reported that a child she used to babysit had disclosed that a man had done “something bad,” according to authorities.
During the investigation, the girl’s sister told police that she was told Rosa had touched her sibling inappropriately and sexually, authorities said.

The girl told investigators that the incidents occurred between 2023 and 2024 when she was 10 years old, police said.
The alleged assaults took place at a house in the Levittown section of Middletown Township, police said.

Authorities learned that a child protection worker had previously spoken with the girl about the alleged abuse. However, the girl said Rosa had instructed her to only speak about one incident and let God handle the rest, police said.
Rosa was preliminarily arraigned by on-call District Judge Christopher O’Neill. He was held on 10 percent of $250,000 bail.
