

A two-vehicle collision in Middletown Township injured several people, including children, and caused significant traffic delays Wednesday morning.

The crash occurred around 10:15 a.m. at the intersection of Gilliam Avenue and Pine Street (Route 413) close to the Langhorne Borough border.
According to Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company Chief Frank Farry, one of the vehicle doors was jammed and required firefighters to pry it open to access those trapped inside.
Five people, some of whom are children, were transported to a local hospital with injuries.

The crash led to traffic disruptions in the area.
Middletown Township police were investigating the crash.

In addition to the Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company and police, the Middletown Township Department of Fire and Emergency Management and Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad responded. Langhorne Borough police and the Bucks County Rangers were also at the scene.
