

A domestic incident escalated into a altercation in the Morrisville section of Falls Township late last Tuesday night, police said.

Falls Township police responded to a call at 9:49 p.m. last Tuesday at a home on Chandler Drive in the Pennwood Crossing Mobile Home Park after a report of an ex-boyfriend who allegedly assaulted someone and stole his ex-girlfriend’s phone.
A 40-year-old Levittown man was identified as removing an item from his ex-girlfriendโs room when the incident occurred, police said.
According to the woman, the 40-year-old man took her iPhone 15 valued at $1,300 from the nightstand, police said.

Following the theft, 40-year-old man and the woman argued outside and he claimed to have destroyed the phone, police said.
Hours later at 12:31 a.m. last Wednesday, officers were called back to the residence due to reports of a disturbance and sounds of glass breaking, police said.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the 40-year-old man and another man engaged in a physical confrontation outside the home, police said.
Responding officers intervened, separated the two, and handcuffed the 40-year-old man, police said.
The other man was found with minor injuries.

After the altercation, officers recovered a black semi-automatic handgun near the scene, which was registered to to the 40-year-old man.
A database search revealed that although the 40-year-old man had a revoked concealed carry permit, and an empty gun holster was visible inside his truck, police said.

The second man involved claimed he confronted the 40-year-old man after hearing him arrive and break a window, which led to a confrontation between the two, police said.
The 40-year-old man was charged with receiving stolen property, theft, firearms not to be carried without a license, simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment, and criminal mischief. He was held unable to post bail.
