
The Neshaminy School District issued a note to families on Monday after the death of a student.

The district’s note was signed by Superintendent Jason Bowman and included few details, but sources said the death of the teenager happened Friday in Langhorne Borough. No further details were released.
Below is the note:
Dear Neshaminy Families,
It is with great sadness that I write to inform you of the death of a Neshaminy High School student. A sudden loss like this can be deeply distressing and upsetting for a child. For that reason, we hope that you will listen to your child and discuss their feelings and reactions to this tragedy with them. Sudden death is always painful to understand, and your child may experience signs of stress.
Counselors from Neshaminy High School will be available for the next several days to provide support and / or grief counseling. If you have concerns about your child and feel that they would benefit from talking to someone at school, please call the Neshaminy High School Counseling Department at (215) 809-6101.
