Just before 3:10 p.m. Saturday, firefighters were called to a home in the unit block of Mallow Lane in Bristol Township’s Levittown section. They arrived to find an exterior fire that was extending, officials said.
The blaze started on the exterior of the home and spread to the attic before being contained, Levittown Fire Company No. 2 Chief Chris Shortt said.
The fire was placed under control within 15 minutes.

The heat from the fire damaged a neighboring home, Shortt said.
