A crash between an SUV and a motorcycle on New Falls Road Friday night resulted in the motorcyclist being transported to the hospital, according to Bristol Township police.

The crash happened around 10:04 p.m. near the intersection of New Falls Road and Indian Creek Pass in Bristol Township’s Levittown section.
Police said the preliminary investigation showed that a silver 2006 Acura MDX, traveling west on New Falls Road, and attempted a left turn southbound onto Indian Creek Pass. At the same time, a white 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle was heading east in the designated left lane on New Falls Road approaching the intersection.
The Acura collided with the Harley Davidson in the right eastbound lane of New Falls Road, police said.

The motorcyclist was taken by the Bucks County Rescue Squad and transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township for treatment, police said.
The extent of the injuries sustained by the motorcyclist was not released Saturday morning.
Police were assisting at the scene were the Bristol Township Fire Police and Levittown Fire Company No. 2.
