Surveillance footage from the park captured the vehicles on Wednesday, April 24 at around 10:45 p.m. as they damaged the park’s turf and fields, police said.

One of the vehicles involved is notable for a distinctive purple sticker on the front windshield that reads “Barney,” police said.

The vandalism breaches Township Code 168-4, which strictly prohibits the operation of motorized vehicles on bike paths or grass areas and mandates parking in designated areas only. Violations of this code can lead to civil enforcement proceedings. Convicted individuals may face a penalty up to $600, in addition to court costs and attorney fees, police said.
