The incident did not cause any injuries or significant damage to the building, Fairless Hill Fire Company Chief Keith Bidlingmaier said.
Crews were first dispatched at 11:13 a.m. for the report of a blaze at the store in the busy shopping center.
Firefighters were able to pull the dumpster away from the building to prevent the fire from spreading, Bidlingmaier said.

The fire was contained within the dumpster unit at the rear of the store.
The contents of the dumpster were then fully extinguished, Bidlingmaier said.

Although the fire did not extend into the store, smoke did make its way inside, the chief said.
Firefighters were on scene for approximately 45 minutes.
The Falls Township Fire Marshal’s Office said the fire does not appear to be a result of arson.
