A fatal crash along East Lincoln Highway in Middletown Township was being investigated.

The crash happened on East Lincoln Highway in the area of the Target shopping center around 9:15 p.m. Thursday.
Police said a man was crossing East Lincoln Highway in the area of the shopping center when a vehicle struck him.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The driver of the striking vehicle stayed on the scene and has been cooperating with investigators, police said.
A police official said it does not appear that the driver was intoxicated and there was no evidence of excessive speed, but the probe was ongoing.

Police blocked East Lincoln Highway Thursday night in the area of the scene.
