Students are now using a unique Ninja Warrior Course that has been making its rounds across the district’s schools. Last week, the course was set up at Albert Schweitzer Elementary School in the Levittown section of Middletown Township.
Students had the opportunity to navigate through its various challenges. Designed to be versatile, the course can be assembled in multiple configurations.
Erik Mazurkiewicz, a physical education teacher at Albert Schweitzer, noted in a district video that the course’s benefits. He noted its role in improving muscular strength, coordination, balancing skills, and the ability to jump over obstacles.

According to Mazurkiewicz, the course not only promotes physical activity among students but also encourages them to work on and enhance their abilities.
“It’s also a good way for the students to stay active. They run around the whole time and try all the obstacles and see what they can do best. And they work on themselves and get better every time,” Mazurkiewicz said.

The course was purchased using a grant from the Neshaminy Education Foundation.
