I-95 Lane Closure Starts Sunday & Will Last Through June

PennDOT has announced that starting Sunday motorists traveling on I-95 in Bristol Township should prepare for disruptions due to bridge construction.

The construction is part of a scheduled project that will continue through Sunday, June 2.

The work will impact traffic both directions of travel between Route 13 and Bristol-Oxford Valley Road.

A lane closure will be in place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning Sundays through Fridays, with additional hours on Saturdays from 4 p.m. to noon in April and from 6 p.m. to 11 a.m. in May.

The lane closure will be necessary to facilitate safe construction operations.

PennDOT warned the closure could result in traffic delays and backups.

PennDOT asked motorists to plan for extra travel time when navigating I-95.

The department reminded travelers that the construction schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.

The bridge construction project is being carried out under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
