The iconic 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels visited the Giant Food Stores at Summit Trace and The Shoppes at Flowers Mill in Middletown Township.
Both stops drew crowds catching a glimpse of the famous vehicle.

“What a wonderful way to spread JOY! Yes, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was roaming around Lower Bucks this past weekend, making a stop at the Giant in Langhorne to the delight of so many smiling faces!. The hot dog crew, in condiment-ry ketchup and mustard jackets, chatted up the visitors, gave everyone nicknames, handed out coupons and postcards, and they were as kind and kind as could be. We relished our time to meet them! This was my friend Liane’s (of Telford and formally Holland) dream for forever – to both see the Wienermobile and yes, to ride in it! We didn’t ask but as it was nearing the end of their shift, the crew themselves offered to take us on a quick jaunt around town – and OH THE SMILES!!! We parked our buns in the seats and we travelled down business Route One toward Falls Township and then swung back around towards the Oxford Valley Mall and Sesame Place, with lots of car horns honking and that great jingle as their horn! “I wish I were an Oscar Mayer Wiener!” “Little Links” Liane brought her husband “Tailgate” Todd and mom “Sizzling” Cynthia who was even born in the same year as the start of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobiles in 1936. And oh how the people loved looking at this sweet ride. We rode with Liane’s new service dog Ketchup Kevin. Amazing too is that the crew, recent college grads who were recruited and picked from an application pool of 7000, fulfilled their own life long dream of JOY with a recent trip to see Drew Barrymore in NYC for her birthday and to be featured on her show. Next up is their trip to Washington DC – so if you see them on 95, give them a wave. Thanks from Hot Diggity Debbie!”

One of six in the Oscar Meyer fleet, the Wienermobile that visited Bucks County is part of an annual tradition and marketing blitz that sees the specialty vehicles cross the country.

Each Wienermobile is manned by a pair of “hot doggers,” brand ambassadors chosen from thousands of applicants for a yearlong opportunity to promote the Oscar Meyer brand far and wide.

The 12 hot doggers undergo special training that includes learning to maneuver the giant hot dog, according to reports.
The Wienermobiles have been been brand symbol since 1936.
