A fire at a scrap yard on Monday evening sent a thick plume of smoke through the sky.
The blaze happened at Delaware Valley Scrap in the 7000 block of Beaver Dam Road off Route 13 in Bristol Township.
Firefighters were called to the scene at 6:13 p.m. and found flames at the yard.
The fire damaged structures and burnt through scrap at the yard, Edgely Fire Company Deputy Chief Carl Pierce said.
No injuries were reported.
Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the fire involved a drum of old lithium-ion batteries and a shed filled with old electronics.
The cause of the blaze remained under investigation by the fire marshal as of Monday night.
The scrap company was closed at the time of the fire, Pierce said.
In addition to the Edgely Fire Company, the Bristol Consolidated, Fairless Hills, Levittown No. 2, Morrisville, Newportville, Third District, and Tullytown fire companies responded.
