Throughout the journey to Bucks County, the two communicated via a translation app due to Amirjon’s limited English proficiency, state police said.

The situation escalated when Amirjon brought the woman and her vehicle to Penndel Borough. He stopped in front of a parked tractor-trailer in a lot along Bellevue Avenue shortly before 2:30 a.m., state police said.

After starting his truck and offering the woman a drink which she refused, Amirjon allegedly became upset. The woman felt compelled and drank. She attempted to discreetly dispose of the beverage in her car. She feared the drink may have been drugged, state police said.

The woman reported that Amirjon then lured her into his truck under the pretext of showing her something. Once inside, she found herself unable to exit due to the style of the door handle, state police said.

Inside the tractor-trailer cab, Amirjon brandished a knife and forced the woman into the back of the truck where he raped her, state police said.
