Levittown-Area School Districts Cancel Activities Due To Storm

As the storm that is expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds to the area moved in Tuesday, area schools districts put cancellations in place.

Bristol Township School District:

“Due to inclement weather, the Bristol Township School District is canceling all after-school activities today, January 9.”

Bucks County Technical High School:

“Due to the inclement weather, all after-school activities have been canceled for today. This evening’s authority meeting has also been canceled. Per Bensalem township’s decision regarding early dismissal, all Bensalem students will be picked up from BCTHS at 1:20 pm today.”

Neshaminy School District:

“Due to the forecast of rain and possible flooding conditions later this afternoon and evening, and the impact that could have on our Transportation Department and novice drivers going to and from our schools, all after-school events including any scheduled practices (also Gym Night practices) are canceled for this evening (TUESDAY 1/9/2024). The School Board meeting scheduled for tonight is still on.
Neshaminy Kids Club is canceled Tuesday afternoon. Please check emails for more information.”

Pennsbury School District:

“Due to the possibility of hazardous road conditions this evening, all after-school activities are canceled for today, Tuesday, January 9, 2024. We will be monitoring the impact of this storm during the overnight hours. Please be prepared for a possible change to our regular schedule in the event of widespread closures or outages. There will only be communication if there is a change to our regular schedule. At this time, the KidsCare program will remain open as scheduled. They will contact parents directly with specific details regarding any changes to their schedule.”
