Now that Christmas is over, it’s time to get rid of that evergreen that’s just sitting in your living room.

Bristol Borough

Trees can be disposed on normal waste pickup days.

Bristol Township:

Christmas trees will be collected curbside by Waste Management on the weeks of January 8 and January 22. Decorations and lights must be removed from trees, according to township officials. They add that trees should not be placed in bags or larger.

Falls Township:

Curbside collection of Christmas trees for composting will be Saturday, January 13 and Saturday, January 27. Trees over six feet long must be cut in half. The township notes all plastic bags and decorations must be removed from the tree. Waste Management will also have a collection container available through the end of January at their scale house at 1400 Bordentown Road. After the January 27 pickup date, trees can be put out with regular trash. 

Middletown Township:

Christmas trees will be picked up on Wednesdays in January. The last pickup day is January 31. Decorations must be removed from trees and trees should not be placed in plastic bags and cannot contain any lights or decorations.
