An accidental fire damaged a home in Bristol Township’s Levittown section early Saturday morning.

Fire crews were dispatched to Kenwood Drive North around 12:30 a.m. for a reported house fire.
The fire was in the rear of the home and was contained in about 10 minutes, Edgely Fire Company Chief Brian Cirard said.
A neighbor held most of the fire in check using a garden hose until firefighters arrived at the scene, Cirard said.

Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the blaze was contained to a rear outside wall and it did extend into a small area of the attic ceiling.
No injuries were reported in the fire.

The cause of the blaze was determined to be accidental, the fire marshal said.
In addition to the Edgely Fire Company, the Levittown No. 1 and Levittown No. 2 fire companies responded.
