The Middletown Township Police Department has welcomed its newest member, Officer Andrew Brady.

Brady was ceremonially sworn in during the Board of Supervisors meeting on Monday evening.
Officer Brady was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware.
Police Chief Joseph Bartorilla said Brady brings a wealth of experience and education to his new role.

The lawman holds a degree from Bloomsburg University, where he distinguished himself as a college swimmer. Furthering his education, Brady is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Homeland Security from Wilmington University.
Before joining the Middletown Township Police Department, Brady served as a police officer in Wilmington, Delaware. He has training in crisis intervention.

Brady married his wife, a Bucks County native, in August.
“He’s looking forward to having a great career in Middletown Township in our department,” Bartorilla said.
