The reopening following a scheduled project that started in late October.
The road reopened when the township expected it to, as the project was completed on schedule.
The project, aimed at addressing longstanding drainage issues, involved resurfacing the road in the tunnel beneath the railroad line.

Motorists who frequently use Woolston Drive between Lincoln Highway and Stonyhill Road had been advised to find alternative routes during the closure. Township officials had established detours for residents and commuters.
The township expressed appreciation through social media for the Public Works Department and General Asphalt for completing the road repairs on time.
“BIG thanks to our amazing Public Works Department who worked hard, along with General Asphalt, to get road repairs completed on time on the Woolston tunnel (between Lincoln Highway and Stonyhill Road) the last few days,” the township wrote on social media.
