
Local attorney Charles Jonas has secured his first term as district judge in the court serving a segment of Middletown Township.

Jonas, who has been presiding as district judge at courthouse 07-1-08 on Trenton Road in Levittown, won the seat after running unopposed in the general election.
Joans was appointed to fill the district judge seat vacancy in summer following the retirement of former District Judge John Kelly.
Before his judicial appointment, Jonas most recently worked in private practice. He worked in the Bucks County Public Defenderโs Office in the past.

Jonas, a native of Lower Bucks County, is also an alumnus of Temple Universityโs James E. Beasley School of Law.
