Crews were called at 10:35 p.m. to Butternut Lane near the Woodbourne Train Station for a report of a fire.

Firefighters pulled up to find a blaze that was on the porch and was rapidly spreading to the home, according to Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company Chief Frank Farry.

The residents were able to remove themselves from the home, Farry said.

One resident sought treatment, but the injuries did not appear life-threatening, Farry said.

The cause of the fire was being investigated by the Middletown Township Fire Marshal’s Office.

In addition to the Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company, the Fairless Hills, Levittown No. 2, Parkland, Penndel, William Penn, and Yardley-Makefield fire companies were on the scene. The Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad also responded.
