Pedestrian Struck, Killed By SUV Along Trenton Road

A pedestrian was struck and killed by an SUV on Wednesday night in Middletown Township, according to police.

Authorities reported that the incident occurred at approximately 9:16 p.m. along the 2600 block of Trenton Road, which sits between Statesman Health and Rehabilitation Center and Woodbourne Place and Holy Family Regional Catholic School.

The male pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, was walking on Trenton Road when he was hit by a westbound gray-colored Cadillac SUV.

The man sustained fatal injuries and died, police said.

Police stated they were actively investigating the crash as of Thursday.
