The closure commenced on Monday and is expected to stretch until Friday, November 10, officials said.
Crews from the Falls Township Public Works Department are tackling longstanding drainage issues and will resurface the roadway in the tunnel beneath the rail line.
Motorists who typically travel on Woolston Road between Lincoln Highway and Stonyhill Road will need to adjust their routes.

“The Public Works department will work diligently to have the work completed within that timeframe,” a statement from the township said.
Authorities have set up detours, and residents and commuters are advised to seek alternative routes when possible.
