A Sunday morning crash in Bristol Township sent three people to local hospitals after a motorcycle collided with a car.

The incident took place around 8:14 a.m. Sunday near Veterans Highway and the Pennsylvania Turnpike/I-95 connector underpass.
According to Bristol Township police, a 2008 Toyota Camry was traveling north in the northbound lane of Veterans Highway when it attempted a left turn. A Kawasaki Motorcycle, following the Toyota, struck it from behind.
The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old man from Philadelphia, and his passenger, a 29-year-old woman, were both injured in the crash. They were transported to local hospitals for treatment, police said.

The driver of the Toyota, a 50-year-old woman from Levittown, was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia, police said.
The force of the crash was strong enough to take off the shoe of one of the two people on the motorcycle, video captured by Ron Roberts and posted on YouTube showed.

Emergency responders from the Newportville Fire Company, Bucks County Rescue Squad, Penndel-Middletown Rescue Squad, and Bristol Township Fire Police assisted officers at the scene.
