
Bristol Borough will be filled with the classics of yesteryears on Saturday as the town hosts its 18th annual Oldies on the River Concert.

Set to begin at 5 p.m., the show promises a trip down memory lane, featuring a lineup of legendary artists, including the soulful Bobby Wilson, son of the iconic Jackie Wilson, who has been recognized as one of the greats in soul, R&B, and rock and roll.
The concert is free and a free option for parking will be available.
The event is hosted by Bristol Borough Council and will be emceed by DJ Greg Whit.

Bobby Wilson will be taking the stage after performances by The Vogues, Charlie Thomasโ Drifters featuring Jeff Hall, The Chiclettes with their high-energy tribute to female artists, Dennis Tufano โ the original lead singer of The Buckinghams, and Vinnie Medungo, a host from WABC Radio and PBS, who champions oldies music.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the sounds of the oldies at Bristol Borough’s waterfront venue.

The free parking option will be available at the Lenox Building parking lot on the 1400 block of Radcliffe Street. A courtesy shuttle bus service will commence at 3 pm, continuing back and forth until 11 pm.
An array of food trucks will be present, dishing out favorites like pizza, burgers, and cheesesteaks.
Many of the borough’s restaurants are located just a short stroll away from the concert venue.
