Marking its 40th year, the annual Italian Day Festival will take place along the waterfront from noon to 6 p.m. Admission to the cultural event is complimentary.
Attendees can anticipate a day filled with myriad activities tailored for children, live Italian music that resonates with the heart of Italy, a selection of crafters, and a variety of rides and vendors. Of course, no Italian festival would be complete without authentic food. A crowd favorite, the Italian sausages, which have become a staple at the event, will once again be on the menu for guests to enjoy.
The Tall Ship Kalmar Nyckel will be in the borough near the festival and offering rides along the Delaware River and tours to the public.
