
A trash truck caused quite a mess on a Lower Bucks County roadway on Friday.

The trash truck flipped onto its side along the traffic roundabout on Bridgetown Pike in Lower Southampton Township just before 10 a.m.
Police, fire companies, and medics were called to the scene of the single-vehicle crash.
Lower Southampton Township Chief of Police Ted Krimmel said the driver was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township for minor injuries.

The crash led to Maple Avenue heading toward Feasterville be closed through the afternoon from Playwicki Park in Middletown Township to the roundabout.
Cleanup crews, police, and wreckers were on the scene working to reopen the road as of 2 p.m.

Police from Lower Southampton Township and Newtown Borough were spotted at the location of the crash, a reader told LevittownNow.com.
Officers continued to investigate the cause of the crash.
