
A 19-year-old Falls Township resident was critically injured Tuesday evening after being struck by a car on West Trenton Avenue, according to authorities.

The crash occurred around 8:15 p.m. in the 900 block of West Trenton Avenue in the Morrisville section of the township.
Falls Township police said a 34-year-old male, also a resident of Falls Township, was driving a Toyota sedan when he hit the 19-year-old man as he crossed the street.
The injured pedestrian was immediately transported due to the severity of his injuries to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton by Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad.

The driver, who remained at the scene, has been cooperating fully with investigators, police said.
Early findings from the police indicate that alcohol, drugs, or any medical emergencies aren’t believed to have played a role in the incident.
