Sesame Place is set to unveil its latest additions – the Sesame Place Store and an upgraded entry plaza- sometime this fall.

The SeaWorld-owned theme park in Middletown Township will be opening a 6,800 square-foot retail space that will serve as Sesame Place’s primary store at the park’s main entrance.
Sesame Place officials boasted Friday that the new retail space will offer a broad assortment of Sesame Street-themed plush toys, showcasing classic figures like Murray Monster, Snuffy, Dinger, and Guy Smiley, among others.
The new retail space aims to be the country’s foremost retail destination exclusively for Sesame Street merchandise.

Visitors will be able to visit the store without an entry fee for those who solely wish to shop.
Members holding Sesame Place Philadelphia Season Passes for 2023 and 2024 will be privileged with an early glimpse of the Sesame Place Store. Additionally, their Season Pass tier will qualify them for merchandise discounts.

The redesigned entrance plaza will honor the legacy of both the iconic “Sesame Place” TV show and the theme park, incorporating architectural and scenic elements reminiscent of renowned spots in Philadelphia and New York, park officials said.
Sesame Place opened in 1980 and is among the most visited tourist attractions in the county. A second Sesame Place opened in San Diego in 2022.
