Four New Officers Join Falls Twp. Police Force

In a ceremony held on Monday, the Falls Township Police Department welcomed four newly hired officers to its ranks.

The officers were sworn in by District Judge Jan Vislosky.

The four officers – Ryan DiFrank, Robert Evangelista, Scott Hall, and Mark Stillman – stood proudly as they took their oath of office.

Chief of Police Nelson Whitney, Lt. Chris Clark, and other department officials were present at the event to witness the swearing-in ceremony.

After completing a comprehensive ten-day orientation program, Evangelista and DiFrank will be assigned to field training officers to acquaint themselves, police said.

Meanwhile, Stillman and Hall will undergo further in-house orientation and training before commencing their training at the Reading Police Academy on Monday, July 10.

Evangelista hails from Warminster Township, where he has been a lifelong resident. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Delaware Valley College. Evangelista pursued his passion for law enforcement by attending the Delaware County Police Academy, where he obtained his police certification in 2020. Active in the community, he is involved with the Warminster Pioneers Youth Football and Cheer Association as a coach and board member. He also volunteers with the Officer Brad Fox Foundation, which is named after a Bucks County native who joined a Montgomery County police force and was murdered in the line of duty.

Stillman is originally from the Midwest, relocated to Buckingham Township in 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry education, with a focus on secondary chemistry, from Purdue University. Stillman contributes to the community as a volunteer firefighter with the Midway Volunteer Fire Company in Central Bucks County.

A lifelong resident of Langhorne, Middletown Township, DiFrank brings a background in law enforcement. He earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from West Chester University and completed his training at the Temple University Police Academy in 2022. Prior to joining the Falls Township Police Department, DiFrank worked as a part-time officer with the Tullytown Borough Police Department. He comes from a law enforcement family, with his father serving as a 27-year veteran in the Middletown Township Police Department.

Hall is originally from Northampton Township, but now resides in New Britain Borough. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Arcadia University and currently works full-time with individuals suffering from intellectual disabilities. He actively participates in community service, volunteering for the St. Mary Medical Center Volunteering for Pennsylvania Program. Additionally, Hall serves as a youth soccer referee, a member of Athletes Helping Athletes, a member of the Central Bucks Youth Aid Panel, and contributes to the Bucks County Quality Council for Intellectual Disabilities.
