Memorial Day weekend is a time to remember those who sacrificed everything in service of our country.
This year, like years past, will be filled with events in the Levittown area.

9 a.m.: The Penndel-Hulmeville Memorial Day Parade begins at Ford Avenue in Hulmeville Borough, goes to Main Street and runs along Bellevue Avenue into Penndel Borough. The parade ends with a ceremony at the Penndel Memorial Ball Field. The event will feature veterans, emergency services, and community groups.
9 a.m.: A Memorial Day remembrance event will take place at the monument at Fallsington Avenue and Main Street in Tullytown Borough.
3 p.m.: Tullytown Borough will hold a Memorial Day Picnic at Canal Park. There will be games, music, and food and drinks.
Sunday

1 p.m.: Levittown Memorial Day Parade steps off at 1 p.m. on Hood Boulevard near Pennsbury High School and ends with a memorial service near American Legion Post 834 in Fallsington.
9 p.m.: Sesame Place in Middletown Township will host fireworks for the Memorial Day weekend.
Monday

9 a.m.: The Jesse Soby American Legion Post No. 148 on Richardson Avenue in Langhorne Borough will be the starting point for the community’s annual Memorial Day ceremony and the following parade. The parade will feature emergency responders, military veterans, musicians, and community groups.
11:30 a.m.: The Croydon Memorial Day Parade begins on State Road and heads to the Joseph A. Schumacher VFW Post at 901 Bellevue Avenue in the Croydon section of Bristol Township. The parade runs along State Road and will feature numerous local groups and emergency responders.
