Law enforcement sources told this news organization the incident unfolded Wednesday night when a person checking on the home discovered concerning items. Authorities were called to the scene and summoned the Philadelphia Police Department’s bomb unit.
The city police department’s bomb squad removed devices from the home, sources said.

Federal authorities were then called to the scene to assist in the probe, which already involved Morrisville Borough police and the Bucks County Detectives.
