Six new single-family homes are planned in Bristol Township’s Croydon section.

Last week, the Bristol Township Planning Commission recommended Bristol Township Council approve preliminary and final land development for the roughly one-acre site along Pennsylvania Avenue.
The plans from developer CLC Contractors Inc. call for extending Pennsylvania Avenue at Girard Avenue to allow for the construction of the new homes.
The exact size of the homes and their proposed starting prices weren’t named, but the plan is to construct them on the largely empty residential-zoned land that sits against Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor.

The land is already subdivided into six different plots of land.
Matt McHugh, an attorney for CLC Contractors, told the planners the developer will need several waivers from council related to extending the roadway, not having a sidewalk, not having a curb on both sides, not providing street trees, and several other conditions.

The plan, according to McHugh, is to match the existing style of the neighborhood, which already includes several new homes.
The developer plans to add stormwater systems that will tie in with existing inlets.
CLC Contractors has been involved in the construction of several pockets of homes throughout the township and is involved in McGrath Home’s plan to construct age-restricted developments at the two sites of closed school in Levittown.
