A home in Bristol Township’s Levittown section was damaged Sunday evening in a fire.

The blaze was reported 6:50 p.m. in the 80 block of Indigo Lane.
In a post, Levittown Fire Company No. 2 said arriving crews found flames coming from the font of the home, extending into a front bedroom, and the home’s knee walls.
Firefighters quickly were able to put down the flames, the fire company said.

The first fire truck arrived within four minutes of the call, the fire company said.
No injuries were reported.

Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the blaze was accidental and caused by a cigarette can on the porch.
The residents of the home were alerted to the fire by neighbors who spotted the flames.
Levittown Fire Company No. 2 was assisted at the scene by the Edgely, Newport, and William Penn fire companies.
